Using: The disinfectant < Alaminol > is intended for
- disinfection of surfaces in premises, surfaces of appliances, machines, rigid pieces of furniture, sanitary-technical equipment, cleaning material, laboratorial ware, patient-care objects, shoes (rubber, plastic and of other materials), medical wastes (bandage materials, cotton-gauze napkins, wads, linen and underwear and medical-purpose disposable items before utilization), medical-purpose objects (including surgery, dentist’s instruments, rigid and flexible endoscopes and instruments to them), in case of bacterial infection (including tuberculoses viral, fungal infections (Candida and dermatophytiae)
- nidus of infections
- on sanitary vehicles
- providing general cleans
-for disinfection and pre-sterilization as well as involving in one procedure clean of medical-purpose items including surgery and dentist’s instruments, for pre-sterilization of endoscopes and instruments to them; and also for final clean of endoscopes before the high-quality disinfection.
Composition: 30% alkidimethylbenzylammonium chloride, 6% glioxile, 0,6% glutaric aldehyde.
Consistency and specialty: transparent liquid of blue color, with smell of odorant.
Microbiological activity: powerful against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria (including pathogens of tuberculosis) as well as fungi of Candida and Trichophyto, viruses (is tested by polio viruses of the 1st type).
Toxicity: in case of getting into stomach the disinfectant belongs to the 3rd class of mild-hazard substances; and to the 4th class of low-hazard substances when it is put onto skin, and to the 4th class of low-hazard toxicity in case of getting into abdominal cavity.
In case of a single inhalation vapor volatility of the substance is low hazardous. The disinfectant possesses sensitizing effect, local skin and especially eye irritation.
Using: surfaces in premises (floors, walls, etc.), rigid pieces of furniture, surfaces of instruments and equipment, sanitary vehicles should be wiped with rags soaked in the solution of the disinfectant or irrigated from an atomizer, automax, atomizer of the “Quasar” type. Sanitary-technical equipment (baths tubs, sinks, etc.) should be treated by the solution of the disinfectant with a brush or wire-brush. After disinfection sanitary-technical equipment should be washed with water. Rubber mats may be disinfected through wiping or immersion into the solution of the disinfectant; upon disinfection treatment they are washed with drinking running water. Patient-care items should be immersed into the solution of the disinfectant or wiped with a rag soaked in the solution. After disinfection they should be thoroughly washed with drinking running water within 5 minutes. Rubber or plastic shoes should be immersed into 1,5% solution of the disinfectant for 60 minutes; upon disinfection treatment they should be washed with drinking running water within 5 minutes. Laboratory ware should be entirely immersed into the solution of the disinfectant; upon disinfection treatment it should be washed with drinking running water within 5 minutes. Disinfection and pre-sterilization (final- before high level disinfection (DHL) of endoscopes) of medical-purpose items (also combined with disinfection) should be performed in plastic, enameled (without enamel damage) containers with covers. Right after their use, (without drying them), the items should be entirely immersed into the working solution, filling all the channels and cavities (avoiding having air locks); detachable items should be dismantled before immersion; items with locking parts should be opened before immersion; beforehand having made a few working movements with them in the solution for better penetration the solution into the lock-locations in the items which are difficult of access. The height of the solution layer above the items should be at least 1sm. After treatment the items should be washed with running water within 5 min. Temperature of working solution should be at least plus 18°C.

Consumption norm: surfaces in premises (floors, walls, etc.) surfaces of appliances, equipment, rigid pieces of furniture, sanitary vehicles – the norm of consumption of disinfectant when wiping is 100 ml/m² (atomizer, automax) 150 ml/m².
sanitary-technical equipment (baths tubs, sinks, etc.) – consumption norm of working solutions for wiping is 200 ml/m², for irrigation - 300 ml/m² (atomizer, automax) 150 ml/m².
Storage life: concentrate – 3 years working solutions 14 days.
Storage terms: storage temperature from -120° up to +400° C.
